a chinse pop song

A few months ago there was a song extremely popular first on the internet then throughout the nation named "Mice love rice". To me, the most interesing lines read "I love you, I love you, just like mice loving rice", but i wonder whether English native speaker would get the humor when reading the translation, or whether it is better to be put into "...just like mice loving cheese".
